the same manner to take post-graduate training there would be a reasonable case for giving them the same starting pay. In existing circumstances, however, they will get their professional training while doing their probationary service in the Department.
111. Labour Officers. The Chief Labour Officer is graded with the Chief Health Officer, with an Inspector of works Grade I and with the Chief Inspector of Police, which seemed to the Commission to be the right grading. Labour inspectors' salaries (Grade I and Grade II) are proposed at a rate which equals them with police and health inspectors. The low salary paid to Women Labour Officers Grade II during the probationary period assUME S that normally during that period they will be wuder training at the University or the Technical School. already they are trained the initial pay proposed is doubled.
